Why should I use Ferilome Root Stimulator when I plant something in my yard?

Ferti-lome Root Stimulator helps to reduce transplant shock, promote faster and stronger root development, and ultimately achieve more vigorous plant growth. This is especially beneficial for trees, shrubs, annuals, perennials, and roses.

How it works

Ferti-lome’s formula provides new plants with a combination of nutrients and hormones that aid in root growth and establishment.

  • Auxin hormone: The active ingredient, indole-3-butyric acid, is a synthetic version of the natural plant hormone auxin. It stimulates cell division and
    elongation in the root zone, encouraging the growth of new, vigorous roots.
  • Essential nutrients: The product is a 4-10-3 fertilizer, meaning it contains 4%
    nitrogen, 10% phosphorus, and 3% potash.

    • High phosphorus (10%): Phosphorus is critical for new root development.
    • Lower nitrogen (4%): This promotes some green, leafy growth but prevents excessive top growth that can stress a new plant while its roots
      are still forming.
  • Wetting agent: The solution also contains a wetting agent, which helps the soil absorb water more effectively and delivers the nutrients directly to the root zone.

Application Rates:

Flowers, shrubs and trees: 3-1/2 tablespoons per gallon of water. Mix 1-8 pints per plant transplanted.

House plants: 1/2 cup per quart of soil (a 6-inch pot holds approximately 1 quart of soil).
