National Pollinator Week is an annual celebration that highlights the importance of pollinators and raises awareness about the critical role they play in maintaining healthy ecosystems. This year, it takes place from June 16th-22nd, 2025. Pollinators like bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds are essential for fertilizing plants, which leads to the growth of fruits, nuts, and seeds.

However, pollinator populations are declining due to factors such as habitat loss, spread of invasive species, or misuse of pesticides. One way you can make a difference is by planting pollinator-friendly plants!
